Def Con Dos, pioneers of Spanish rap metal, will celebrate in Barcelona on May 16th of 2026 the 30th anniversary of their most iconic album, Alzheimer. Released in 1995, this record marked a turning point in their career, establishing DCD as undisputed leaders in the Spanish music scene, with over 100,000 copies sold. Its corrosive lyrics, powerful rap delivery, and metal-driven energy made Alzheimer a cornerstone of their artistic identity.
In 2026, Def Con Dos celebrates the 30th anniversary of Alzheimer, while Ktulu marks the 30th anniversary of their album Confrontación, one of the most important milestones in Spanish metal.
To commemorate this double anniversary, both bands will perform a one-of-a-kind concert in Barcelona on May 16 at Razzmatazz 2 at 7:00 PM. DCD will perform Alzheimer in full, while Ktulu will unleash their powerful thrash / industrial metal sound.
Both bands previously shared a historic appearance on the soundtrack of the cult film El día de la bestia, a defining moment in Spain’s heavy music scene. Now, 30 years later, they reunite on the same stage for a show that promises to be a historic celebration for fans of Spanish metal and rap metal.
