MESSA will land in Spain in October 2026.

The acclaimed Italian doom metal band MESSA announces their first European and UK headlining tour following the release of their fourth album, The Spin.

MESSA will perform in Spain on the following dates:

• 28 October 2026 — Barcelona — Sala Salamandra

• 29 October 2026 — Madrid — Sala Copérnico

After captivating European audiences during their recent tour with Paradise Lost and following a series of sold-out shows in their native Italy, the quartet is ready to bring their unmistakable sound to new stages. Their style, self-defined as “Scarlet Doom,” blends atmospheric doom metal with influences from jazz, blues, gothic rock, and dark ambient, creating an intense, elegant, and deeply emotional sonic experience.

Their latest work, The Spin, represents a decisive step forward in the band’s evolution. Recorded using original 1980s equipment and exploring new sonic textures closer to gothic rock and dark wave, the album confirms MESSA as one of the most relevant and sophisticated acts in contemporary doom metal.

Formed in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, MESSA have built a solid career spanning more than a decade, with acclaimed albums such as Belfry, Feast For Water, and Close.
